Path Fertility’s Progress Highlighted at Biotech Showcase 2025

Andy Olson, Co-founder & CEO, Path Fertility a division of Inherent Biosciences

We had the privilege of presenting at the prestigious Biotech Showcase 2025, showcasing our strides in revolutionizing male fertility diagnostics with our groundbreaking sperm quality test, SpermQT.

The Biotech Showcase offers an unparalleled opportunity for companies like ours to connect with investors and industry leaders worldwide. Now in its 17th year, it highlights the transformative innovations shaping the future of biotechnology and is an international hub for biotech investors and executives attending the annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, setting the tone for the year ahead in the life sciences sector.

Commercial Momentum with SpermQT

We shared exciting developments in our commercial journey. Notably, Walmart has integrated SpermQT into its employee fertility benefits program, managed by Kindbody. Kindbody’s adoption of SpermQT has rapidly expanded, with 31 additional employer contracts now offering coverage for this innovative diagnostic. This milestone reflects growing recognition of the value SpermQT provides in identifying subfertile men who are often overlooked by traditional testing, ultimately improving outcomes for families navigating fertility challenges.

Advancing Research with the SPOT Study

We also provided updates on the SPOT study, a pivotal clinical trial designed to validate the utility of SpermQT further. The study has reached full enrollment, with 500 patients now participating. An interim readout is expected in February, which promises to deliver new insights into SpermQT’s role in enhancing fertility treatment outcomes.

Looking Ahead

As we continue to expand the reach of SpermQT and build on our clinical research successes, we remain steadfast in our mission to bring groundbreaking solutions to fertility challenges. With growing commercial traction and a robust research pipeline, 2025 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for Path Fertility.
